Be Yourself, Just Like The Rest Of Us!

Current mood:expansive

mass production makes it so a person can not be entirely unique – and that’s okay.  we never were.  we’re all people.  in the age of mechanized networks, individuality is an overripe fruit.  individuality needs to recede or go.  but perception spirals outward from the person, so we are each still our own universe.

our technological aptitude for the sensory acquisition of the material world has become so developed that the entire universe now exists in each human mind.  that’s why Radiohead makes so much sense.

philosophies of individuality are still useful, but being an individual doesn’t make you special, because we ALL ARE, just like each other.  do you know how many sperm are in ONE ejaculation.  who’s unique!?  who’s special!?  every single fucking one of us.  sheesh.  so, a question:  why is uniqueness revered?  since when?  since kings and holy men?  since Buddha?  since Christ?  Darwin’s mutants?  Queens?  Chieftains?  NO, leaders need not be unique.  why does this matter?!  ABORT!
